It’s always thrilling when previously unknown photos of a legendary person are discovered in a relative’s or friend’s home archives. In this case, the author was both relative and close friend: his legendary cousin was none other than Brian Epstein.

Basil Hyman, for many years a published UK photographer, is in fact the son of the brother of Brian’s late mother Queenie.

His newest book is called “Photographs Found: A Personal Memoir of 1960s Britain.” Written/compiled from his own personal archives of Swinging Sixties ephemera and memorabilia, it amazingly features an informal Brian Epstein in some of the photos.

Don’t let this one get away. Do you have someone in YOUR life who would treasure this book as a gift?

Didn’t know you had a blog. I’m about to start a blog on WordPress myself, within the next few weeks. It’ll be a companion blog to my ebook.

Ha. Over the past 8 years I’ve created blogs on many different sites, the first being Livejournal. This WordPress blog is a minor one for me, hardly used, as you can probably tell.

Google search term eppylover and be amazed. Or not. 🙂
